Turn Old Wounds into Strengths

Using a proven approach called The Meadows Model, clients look at how past experiences and emotional pain can lead to addiction or unhealthy patterns. Clients learn healthier ways to cope and rebuild self-worth through individual and group therapy, trauma work, and 12-Step meetings. Everyone is treated with respect, and the environment feels like a safe place to release guilt and start feeling hope again.

Relearn How Good Life Can Feel

The campus offers calm, inviting spaces for rest and reflection, but healing doesn’t stop when clients leave campus. Clients take what they learn into the community by sharing sober meals at local restaurants, grocery shopping, or enjoying simple moments like getting their nails done—all while practicing new habits and proving to themselves that life can feel good without substances.

Keep Growing Long after Leaving

At The Meadows Texas, clients transition into next steps that fit their lives, whether that’s a partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP) , sober living, neurofeedback, or virtual options for ongoing therapy. Alumni stay connected through retreats and an in-app community, giving them access to peers and encouragement long after they leave campus.

Recover as a Family, Not Alone
Recover as a Family, Not Alone
Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in connection. The four-day Family Program at The Meadows Texas helps clients and their loved ones rebuild trust and better understand the healing process. Over the course of four full days, families join their loved one in guided group sessions with a family therapist, learning how to support recovery.
Rebalance the Brain and Reclaim Calm
Rebalance the Brain and Reclaim Calm
Using gentle, science-backed tools like neurofeedback, cranio-electro stimulation, and heart-rate variability training, the Brain Center teaches the brain to self-regulate. This means reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and restored balance to the nervous system. Clients can recline under soft lighting, use a zero-gravity or weighted blanket, and relax as their brain learns new patterns of peace and resilience.
Trust World Class Experts in Recovery
Trust World Class Experts in Recovery
At The Meadows Texas, clients are surrounded by people who understand recovery from every angle—clinicians trained by leaders like Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and Dr. Peter Levine, medical and psychiatric experts, and experienced staff who bring both professional skill and personal understanding. Many are in recovery themselves or have walked beside loved ones through it.
Open Up in Gender-Specific Groups
Open Up in Gender-Specific Groups
At The Meadows Texas, every group is gender-specific because they value when their clients feel safe to express themselves.
